In the district of Molina in Peru’s coastal capital city, the Lima Peru Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stands as a beacon to Church members. There, they can worship God and draw closer to Him.
Similar to other Mormon temples built during the 1980s, the exterior design of the temple has six detached spires. The tallest of these spires has a gold-leafed statue of angel Moroni, a prophet from the Book of Mormon, on the top. The public is welcome to walk around this beautiful structure and enjoy its exterior archways and the bounteous flowers that decorate the temple grounds.
