Overlooking verdant Cache Valley, the Logan Utah Temple’s twin white towers stand against the Wasatch Mountains. A short walk from Utah State University, the temple was the second of Utah’s 17 temples to be completed and is a well-known landmark in Logan, a city of nearly 50,000. The temple serves members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cache Valley, Utah, and southeastern Idaho.
The temple grounds occupy a nine-acre block and feature a step fountain, gardens and a grassy hill. Within the 119,619-square-foot building, there are sealing rooms, where marriages are performed, instruction rooms and a baptistry.
