The Madrid Spain Temple, the 56th temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is located in Moratalaz, which is a suburb of Madrid. The temple is surrounded by other Mormon Church buildings — a meetinghouse, a missionary training center, a family history center, apartments for temple patrons and an office building. For Latter-day Saints in Madrid, this complex is much like Salt Lake City’s famous Temple Square. Church members from Spain, Portugal, Canary Islands, Cape Verde and France attend the Madrid Spain Temple to find peace as they worship God and draw closer to Him.
