South of Tennessee’s capital city, the Nashville Tennessee Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stands in the suburb of Franklin, Tennessee. Church members from Tennessee and Kentucky attend the temple to feel the peace that comes from worshipping in a house of God.
The temple is made of Imperial Danby white marble and has a floor plan spanning 13,613 square feet. Set into its walls are 24 stained glass windows in groups of three. Most of these sets of windows are accompanied by three marble circles on the wall above them.
